The FIT Forum 2021, organized by the savings bank “Kreissparkasse Miesbach-Tegernsee”, took place as a digital event, due to the Corona pandemic. But in spite of the challenges, it was a wonderful day with inspiring conversations, new perspectives, and innovative solutions.

The conference brings together regional companies, start-ups, local policymakers, and scientists to discuss current and future challenges to the “Oberland” region.

This year’s motto “The New Normal” lead the way for discussions in the fields of tourism, recruiting, new work, and life in the region. The participants exchanged new ideas and different perspectives with the online community in various panel discussions, presentations, and interviews.

It was a very special event for me and a great pleasure to be part of the team again after the last FIT Forum in 2019. Among my personal highlights was an interview with Sabine Nallinger and Nora Wilhelm about CSR 2.0, the future of corporate responsibility, and a panel with young politicians from the five major political parties.
