This year’s BMW Group Dialogues took place at BMW Welt, right in the heart of Munich, very close to the main BMW factory. BMW Welt is a place full of stories, full of automotive history. And it is a place to discover and discuss the future of mobility. Which made it the perfect location for the first digital BMW Group Dialogues.
For the past years, this meant traveling to cities on 5 continents to discuss topics like the future of mobility or corporate responsibility. This year, the digital event gave us the chance to involve a large audience around the globe in 24 hours.
The topic was the sustainable supply chain, which was discussed in 2 panels, one focusing on CO2 emissions and the other on Environmental & Human Rights with amazing experts & panelists from Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas. Among them, from India, Seema Arora, from VESTAS, Lisa Ekstrand, from Union Investment Janne Werning, from Google, Alyssa Newmann and from Siemens, Simone Bofinger-Schuster.
