More than 800 million in the world go hungry every day. The goal of the World Food Programme is to achieve zero hunger by the year 2030. The WFP Innovation Accelerator, headed by Bernhard Kowatsch, was founded to accelerate innovations that help fight global hunger and spread them around the globe.
At the official opening of the World Food Programme Innovation Accelerator in Munich, prestigious guests such as the German Foreign Minister Dr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the Federal Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development Dr. Gerd Müller and the Bavarian Minister for Food, Agriculture and Forestry, Helmut Brunner spoke to the audience. A very special highlight was the speech from the Executive Director of the World Food Programme, Ertharin Cousin.
I was honoured and privileged to present this great event, with innovation pitch sessions in the morning and the official opening ceremony in the afternoon, under the direction of the always superb team from Zibert + Friends.
