Sustainability starts with taking it seriously and making CO2 reduction an integral part of a company’s strategy.
In 2021, the BMW Group became the first premium manufacturer to publish an Integrated Group Report, combining the Annual Report & Sustainable Value Report. The BMW Group also wants to be in constant dialogue with its most important stakeholder groups, which is why the Group is continuously improving the Dialogue Series, tackling important and current issues.
In March of this year, the BMW Group published its latest integrated report so the 2022 “360° CO2-Strategy” dialogues focused on some of its most important topics like CO2 reduction, CO2 Offsetting E-mobility, and the charging infrastructure.
“The future of the BMW Group is electric, digital, and circular”, said Vice President Sustainability, Mobility Dr. Thomas Becker, who provided insights into the Group’s overall CO2 strategy, and how the BMW Group reduces CO2 in the supply chain, production and use phase. Additional insights were provided by experts like atmosfair’s Founder & CEO Dr. Dietrich Brockhagen, and IONITY’s Head of Marketing, Brand & Communications, Frank Plaschka.
The future is circular. Having been a part of the BMW Group Dialogues since 2018, I had the immense privilege and pleasure to once again be part of this wonderful event series produced by the ever-amazing Zibert+Friends. Witnessing this positive energy, learning about the holistic strategy, and partnerships with credible experts in the sustainability business give me hope for our future and the future of mobility.
