In beautiful Montreux at Lake Geneva, Switzerland, over 100 participants of the G-20 countries got together for the G-20Y Summit 2014. Over the course of four intense days at the historic Fairmont Le Montreux Palace, the summit discussed the world’s pressing challenges in areas like energy, finance or demographics.
As the Master of Ceremony / Moderator, I had the privilege of accompanying the participants throughout the summit at the Fairmont Le Montreux, as well as at the Closing Gala Dinner at Chateau de Chillon.
Being a huge fan of electric vehicles of all kind, I was excited to film for and with the brand new “BMW i3” in Munich. Directed by Marc Hartmann, the shoot was all about how and where to charge an electric car in the city.
Directed by Holger Frick and Volker Haag from Superama, I shot a video introduction for the Azlan Momentum Business Adivsor Cisco Reseller Program. The Video is also available on YouTube.
As the charming Hotel mogul Gregor Flemming, I had the pleasure of shooting for the German TV-Show “Alles was zählt” in Cologne. Directed by Patricia Frey, I was honoured to play amongst wonderful colleagues such as André Dietz and Caroline Frier.
In May, participants from over 50 countries gathered for the G20 Youth Forum 2014 in the quaint Bavarian town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. For the 9th time, this unique conference for young leaders was organized by the G8 & G20 Alumni Association. Founder and President Ksenia Khoruzhnikova once again created an outstanding program for this prestigious event, which I had the honour of moderating.
With an opening speech by mayor of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Dr. Sigrid Meierhofer, the conference started into its three day course of sharing and collating ideas on key issues such as the economy, the environment, human rights, education and technology through different platforms. The conclusions of the G20 Youth Forum will be compiled and published in the Final Results document, which will be made available to the leaders of the G20, UN, the IMF and the World Bank.
